Its principals focus on the strategic and financial needs of middle market companies and commercial property owners, whose sales typically range from $5 - $100 million. Sundials' professionals offer unique capabilities based on a broad range of knowledge and years of experience helping our clients achieve their objectives quickly and confidentially. Richard M. Trottier

Partner, Sundial Partners, Inc.

Richard has over twelve years experience in advising clients in acquisition, divestiture, mergers, business valuation, strategic planning, and turn-around planning. He has successfully advised clients in over 150 completed transactions in a wide variety of industries. Richard has owned and sold several businesses, held elective office and served on the board of a number of companies and civic organizations. He has spoken frequently at national industry conventions and published articles on mergers and acquisitions. Richard holds a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree from Wayne State University and has completed the course work for a Ph.D.

Douglas E. Trottier

Partner, Sundial Partners, Inc.

Douglas has over twenty years' experience in Mergers & Acquisitions. He has initiated and managed over 100 complex transactions. He has a working knowledge of numerous industries and extensive experience in several including: internet based businesses, printed circuit boards, computer and electronic equipment manufacturing, security service, food manufacturing and distribution, and the equipment rental industry. Doug holds a Bachelors Degree in finance from the University of Tampa.

Divestitures

Sundial represents sellers of a business, on an exclusive basis. We provide a full range of services including: valuation, recommendations to enhance value, identification of serious prospective buyers, screening of and negotiations with buyers, coordination of the sales process, and analysis of bids. As an integral part of the process we provide market analysis and high quality offering memorandums for presentation.

Aquisition Searches

Sundial provides acquisition services to guide clients through every step involved in locating the right company and structuring the transaction. We assist with feasibility planning, target research, company tours, prospect screening, bid negotiations, and coordinating due diligence and closing.

Affiliations

The Association for Corporate Growth

The Association for Corporate Growth has approximately 4,000 members throughout the United States and Canada. It is composed of professionals involved in corporate growth and development and mergers and acquisitions. Approximately two thirds are primary decision makers in rapidly growing companies.
